Meet the Born Just Right Board of Directors

Jen Myronuk

Jen is the cofounder of STEM on Stage, a STEAM initiative to promote narrative science through living history film and immersive media. She’s the producer & director of Humanity Needs Dreamers: A Visit With Marie Curie and the producer & director of the upcoming immersive media production of Pursuit of Discovery: Lise Meitner & Nuclear Fission. She was the co-producer & director of Code4Rights, a video training series promoting social impact through the development of mobile apps. She serves as a board member of Women in Film and Video of New England. As a Silicon Valley native, she previously worked in tech and now lives in Massachusetts.

 

Max Pete

Max is a Squarespace website designer + digital marketer, and a Squarespace Authorized Trainer. He currently lives in San Diego, CA. His background is in the music industry where he spent seven years gaining experience in digital marketing, advertising, project management, and website design. Now he works with businesses all across the board from restaurants and bars, to CPAs, and consultants. When he is not working from home, you'll most likely catch him at various coffee shops in the city. On his off time, he is usually creating playlists or out for a run. 

 

Aurora Myer

Aurora is a Director of Communication and Marketing at the University of Missouri’s School of Law. As Director, she works with faculty, staff and students to direct all marketing and communication efforts in traditional and social media to advance the School of Law’s strategic priorities. Over her 17-year career, Aurora has developed an impressive track record of increasing both the size and engagement of relevant audiences by using analytics to help guide strategic decision-making. A PRSA-accredited public relations professional, Aurora is entitled to use the APR professional designation. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri.

 

Kellyanne Mahoney

Kellyanne is a National Board Certified Teacher and experienced curriculum developer who spent 13 years working in the Boston Public Schools. She currently serves as a Youth Program Specialist for Autodesk, focusing on creating K-12 STEAM learning content, managing education campaigns and programs, facilitating professional development for educators, and building strong relationships with the New England education community and beyond. For the past several years, Kellyanne’s work has also been centered on using design thinking to bridge the problems faced in schools with the problem of creating equitable onramps into the innovation economy for students.

 

Sam Hobish

Sam strives to create objects and digital experiences that are visually striking and deliberately designed but ultimately realized through human use. Whether in the capacity of industrial design, user experience or interface design, Sam is passionate about making products that drive curiosity, spark passions and develop skills. Prior to establishing his own consultancy, Sam served as LimbForge’s Creative Director and Lead Designer, driving software development and strategizing and implementing all design and branding initiatives for the organization. Previously, Sam worked at Pier 9, Autodesk’s advanced prototyping facility where he leads various design initiatives for the Autodesk Hardware Team. Sam also serves as a founding board member for 'Born Just Right,' a non-for-profit that helps children with physical differences learn and use STEAM skills to create custom designs. Sam has an M.F.A. in Industrial Design from California College of the Arts and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. In a previous career, Sam worked as a Communications Director for political campaigns. In his free time, Sam plays the mandolin and sports with balls. His work has been featured by FastCompany, CNN, Shark Tank, Autodesk, The Design Museum Foundation and many others.
