A New Project Unicorn Prototype

Jordan continues to work on Project Unicorn with her design partner, Sam Hobish. They’re trying to figure out a way to take one of the newest 3D printed prosthetic designs and find ways to harness the little bit of movement at the base of Jordan’s little arm.

Jordan and Sam met to talk through ideas and we learned how to heat a special type of 3d printed plastic that we hope can hold onto her little arm enough to guide the prototype’s “elbow” motion.

This week, Jordan are I are going to see if we can find a way to attach the little piece of plastic to the new prototype. I’ll be sure to share new developments on Instagram or maybe another YouTube video. I wasn’t kidding when I said Jordan wants to really build her channel. We’ll see if she comes up with new, fun ideas soon.
