A simple tweet helps Camp No Limits
It isn’t every day when something as simple as a tweet can earn money for a great cause. I’m in Las Vegas through tomorrow as part of the New Media Expo event. It’s a conference for bloggers and full of really smart and amazing people. During the event, there’s a really cool campaign called the Million Dimes campaign. The idea is to get a million tweets in the next week and the website We-Care will donate ten cents for every tweet where a non-profit is mentioned on Twitter along with @wecare and #MillionDimes. The site will give up to $10,000 per non-profit.
I would LOVE your help getting Camp No Limits involved in this campaign. All you have to do is send a tweet like this one:
Simple, eh? The last time I checked the Million Dimes page, Camp No Limits was only one percent of all tweets mentioned in this campaign. We can do better than that, right? You can tweet in honor of camp five times a day up to January 14th or once there are a million tweets sent. That means the sooner you send a tweet, the more likely camp will get the money!
Thanks for your ongoing support of Camp No Limits!!
