Dance class smiles
Right before I left town for my most recent trip, I had a chance to sit in on Jordan’s dance class. She’s worked with this studio since she was two and a half years old. That seems like forever ago. Either way, Jordan loves dance. It was really fun to watch her work very hard on her ballet and tap. I caught a little video of it and compiled a bit of ballet with a look at her full dance recital dance. The performance (and hopefully even better) version will come next month.
Dance remains one of Jordan’s favorite pastimes. This week is spring break in our town so she doesn’t have dance class. Instead, she gets to try out t-ball practice for the first time. That’s tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if she likes it more than soccer. I realize neither of my kids are ever going to be super-mega sports stars, but they are healthy, happy kids and I think sports are a wonderful outlet to help them stay healthy. Hopefully my interest in exercise will soak into them at least a little bit!
Have fun watching the video:
I think sports are WONDERFUL for kids. They are a great outlet for energy and they help kids socialize with other kids that they wouldn’t normally socialize with and in a different atmosphere. It is great for the body, its good for the mind. All around i think its important, even for the non super mega stars.
