Decoration failure
On Jordan’s birthday, my mom gave Jordan a really cute peel and stick decal for her room that has a princess crown and the word “Princess” under it. You can stick rhinestones on the crown. It’s just cute. And kind of over the top… but hey, why not. I figured we’d put it up for the fun of it.
Fast forward to tonight. We ran all over town for Cameron’s activities while Jordan is recovering from a really gross stomach thing that’s spreading all over her preschool. So right before bed, she and I decided it would be fun to put up the princess decal. I thought it would be easy – but it turns out the crown and all of the letters need to be put on the wall individually. So I got the crown up, the letters P-R-I-N-C-E and then I worked on the first ‘S.’ It was a little lopsided, so I peeled it off and tried to put it on again. But I dropped it. I watched it fall… but then I lost it. And when I say lost it, I mean I really lost it. I have no idea where it went. Both kids and I searched for it. But it disappeared.
So now we have this on the wall:
I immediately googled to see if I could find another one just like this so I could replace the ‘S.’ Apparently, the product isn’t sold online anywhere!! My mom is going to return to the store where she found it tomorrow and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she’ll find an ‘S’ so I don’t have to take the prince down from Princess Jordan’s room!
