GIVEAWAY: Disney storybooks and ice skating!

We are planning another magical trip to Disney World later this year. We love it there so much. This year, we’re visiting thanks to our road trip to my parents’ house in south Florida for the holidays. On our way back, we plan to enjoy the resort and a few other neat surprises for the kids. (Jordan will get to turn seven while we’re there.) The kids kind of expect to go to the park, but I love leaving some of the details up for a surprise.

I have a cool surprise for you, too. If you live driving distance to St. Louis, you have a chance to attend a Disney on Ice: Treasure Trove event in St. Louis at Chaifetz Arena at 3:00PM on September 21st. You’ll also win a Disney recordable book all thanks to Hallmark. I had a really wonderful time visiting with Hallmark last year to talk about memorable moments as a mom. Luckily, they got back in touch with me to share a really neat experience.

First, you’ll have a chance to enjoy one of Hallmark’s newest Disney recordable books. Jordan is sharing her new book, “The Wish My Heart Makes for You.” You can watch some of the book I recorded for her. To be honest, it’s perfectly written for a grandma or grandpa to read. I can just hear my mom saying it. But I did my best:

Here’s how it will work. Leave a comment after this post and tell me a short story about something that makes you smile. Anything. It’s pretty simple. I’ll collect all of the names of people who left comments and use random.org to randomly choose a winner on September 18th. Have fun! UPDATE: I added Rafflecopter to help you get even more chances to win. Check this out:

My beautiful daughter, Cecilia, makes me smile all day! Specifically she has been really into dancing lately. Her stellar moves make me grin ear to ear.

How fun! We went to Disney last August…it was a blast! My girls would love Disney on ice. And a story that makes me smile…that’s tough to narrow down. My girls waking up makes me smile. But my two year old is at a funny age…she says some crazy things. For example, when her older sister is acting up, she will say, BiTnee. (Britney)… I’m not going to ask you again. 1, 2, 3. You in trouble. Obviously she has heard that before… Ha!

My daughter’s sense of humor makes me smile. She loves to be silly and make jokes. When I travel she records silly videos of herself and sends them to me. It always make me smile when I watch the videos.

Watching my kids just doing their day to day things. I love to see the world through their eyes….sometimes that is all you need to appreciate the small (but very important) things in life<3
