Getting in the saddle
Jordan had an evaluation meeting for an equestrian therapy program… She didn’t get to ride on a horse but she got to meet them. It was so cool. She is SOOO excited to ride one. Actually she’s so excited that she can’t stop talking about the horses.
“Tomorrow I’m going to ride a horse!”
“Actually Jordan you’re going to ride a horse in a couple of weeks when your classes start.”
“Can I go right now?”
“You’re going to need to wait a couple of weeks.”
“Oh okay.”
I’m thrilled that she’s excited about this. I can’t wait to see her get this experience. The therapist told me it will help Jordan learn how to strengthen her loose hips and work on her balance. And at the same time, have a ton of fun!
I have heard that horse therapy can do wonders.
Please keep us updated on how she does!
Carter is going to be INSANELY jealous…please invite us on “Bring a Friend” day! :>)
If there is a bring a friend day we will certainly bring you over!
Is that at Cedar Creek? I used to volunteer there. It was so awesome!
It is Cedar Creek! I can’t tell you how excited Jordan is! I’m pretty darn excited too!
I did quite a bit of volunteer work there and saw equine therapy work wonders on children and adults with all sorts of challenges. She will love it!
