Happy Holidays from the Reeves
We’re celebrating Christmas with my parents this holiday season. The kids are so excited… So much so that I caught Jordan working a little too hard investigating who gets what gift this morning. We’ve enjoyed the wonderful weather and Jordan went swimming two days in a row. You can’t do that in the Midwest during this time of the year!
Each year, we find this is the time when we spend the most time thinking about what matters the most to us. The horrible shootings in Connecticut put that thought even closer in our hearts. We feel so fortunate to be able to have this time with family.
Of course, every trip has a little hitch. Like this morning, when I discovered that Jordan and I both were been hit with our elementary school’s rampant head lice. So we’re enjoying the day wearing really pretty shower caps as we wait for the homeopathic solution to work. (This was a wonderful reminder to NEVER share my brush with my daughter.) It wasn’t exactly what we had planned to do on Christmas Eve, but I’m trying to let go of the little things and be thankful for the big ones.
One of those big ones: Born Just Right. Jordan and I want to thank each and every one of you for your support for the community, Camp No Limits and our family.
When Jordan wakes up in the morning, she’s going to find out Santa is sending us to Disney World starting December 26th through her birthday with a celebration in the Magic Kingdom. It will be quite a big to-do.
To celebrate the holidays, please enjoy our family holiday card. We’d love to hear your fun holiday stories and leave a message on our … and hopefully they won’t involve shower caps!
