Join Us at #STEMchat for a Fun Conversation

Today, Jordan and I are taking part in Born Just Right’s first invitation to participate in a Twitter chat. I’ve been a part of Twitter chats for many years but it’s the first time for BJR! It’s also Jordan’s first chance to really use her new Twitter account since joining it earlier last month.

It’s today, September 19th, at 9:00 PM Eastern, 8:00 Central, 6:00 PM Pacific. You can join in on the TI/MakerMom STEMchat. We’re going to talk about STEM careers and how parents can help foster the joy of STEM skills with our kids. Jordan will share some of her insight from the last 18 months of jumping into the STEM/STEAM (I like including that “A” for arts) world. She’s also really excited about trying out this Twitter thing! (I’ve used it personally and for work for a very long time.)

How does it work? Well, hop onto Twitter when it starts and search for #STEMchat. It’s even easier if you use Tweetdeck and create a column that just searches for #STEMchat. If you join in on the conversation, you’ll qualify to win a really cool Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE calculator.
