MagZip zippers for everyone!

You may remember a little more than a year ago when Jordan tried on her very first MagZip jacket from Under Armour. She’s a massive fan. We a few coats and jackets from the company since that first post. We are honored Under Armour noticed our YouTube video and sent additional samples for Jordan to try. We even auctioned off a couple jackets to raise money for Camp No Limits!
Well, many of you left comments on this site and in personal conversations with me that you were SO EXCITED about a zipper that makes it possible to zip with one-hand, but an Under Armour jacket is an investment… And when our kids grow so fast, buying a jacket with a special zipper may be an investment we can’t all afford.
Well, get ready to work with your local alteration store (or maybe you can sew… it’s not my skill). The inventors of the MagZip, DNS Designs, are selling the zipper on its own so you can add it to existing coats and jackets or you can make one on your own. There are adult colors and childrens’ colors. Even better? Each zipper costs EIGHT DOLLARS. They’re selling five a month per customer to make sure there’s enough for everyone.

This is awesome!! I love when companies make a product like this more accessible to the folks who need it. Under Armour jackets – heck, new jackets at all – are not in our budget. We go for yard sales and consignment stores. But I can sew (enough)! Hooray! Rosie’s first MagZip is on order now. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I have an coat from tractor supply similar to a carhartt, do you have a magzip that would fit it?

why is the magzip site flagged as unsafe in my browser? i need to contact them about other zipper colors. you can only order black and grey yet they show more colors.
