She's a baseball player

Last night was Jordan’s first t-ball game as a player. She’s attended many games… Ever since she was tiny, she’s attended games for her brother. But now it’s her turn.

I had a lot of people ask me how she was going to play. She has a tiny pink bat and she’s swinging it super hard off of the tee. She did pretty darn well – just a couple of swings and she figured it out. I caught a picture of her first hit… although Randy (who is seen in the picture) was walking towards third base when she made the hit and didn’t see it. I bought her a glove that she can use with her right hand – and it’s loose enough for her to take it off quickly so she can throw the ball back.

After Jordan’s first hit, she was super proud and didn’t realize you have to touch home base when she came around the bases. She’ll never forget again!

This is another one of those little things that I never thought Jordan would be able to do when she was born. But as usual, she figures everything out. She really is a baseball player!
