The T-Ball Experience
When I signed Jordan up for t-ball, I thought she’d like it… but just a little. She’s had to attend so many games for her brother, it just seemed right for her to have a chance to play herself. So I signed her up. She wasn’t that impressed during practice but ever since her first game, she’s loved it. She really is a go getter and gets aggravated when the ball doesn’t come close to her. She loves playing the pitcher position so she can try to grab the ball at every opponent’s swing. She thinks it’s super fun to hit the ball off the tee and run the bases.
And there are new friends.
This past weekend was picture day for the team and one of the boys told Jordan that he was going to kiss her. As any mom would want a five year old to react, she screamed and ran away. It was adorable.
I think it’s so funny she had picture day for dance and baseball in the same week. Those are two very different worlds… But Jordan found ways to have them collide. Here’s what her official baseball picture will look like:
