Video: Here comes the recital

Tonight’s the big night… and like many dance studios, we aren’t allowed to take pictures or shoot video during the actual performance. Unlike me, I forgot my good camera at work so I only had my iPhone to capture last night’s recital rehearsal. I’m totally off my game. Actually, maybe I’m calming down. I rushed to get Jordan’s outfit and makeup on to try and rush back to work before the rehearsal when Jordan reminded me of my phone. I take so many pictures and video with it, she said I should just bring my phone. So I stopped rushing. I accepted the lack of really stellar photos. We enjoyed watching the rehearsal and Jordan had a blast performing. She told me she felt like she was really in a recital instead of practicing. Take a look, she was really into the performance:

I’m one of the stage moms in her class so I’ll get to take pre-show pictures while I keep watch on the dance class and share I’ll share the pictures tonight or tomorrow. I’m not very good at this dress up stuff so I’m lucky to have my friend (who happens to be Jordan’s dance teacher) help me out tonight. Hopefully Jordan will have the full dancer look tonight!
